All myotherapy appointments at NM last for 45mins. We pride ourselves on the fact that the therapist spends the entire 45 mins with the client. This allows for a proper examination, treatment and home advice if required.
Myotherapy and remedial massage are covered under the ancillary or extras cover of most major health funds. The amount covered may vary depending on level of cover.
Our Brunswick clinic offers HICAPS facilities allowing for on the spot rebates.
Whilst we commonly receive referrals from other allied health professionals, you do not need a referral to make an appointment with one of our therapists.
The number of appointments really depends on the problem and individual.
After a through assessment your therapist will put in place a treatment plan that is patient specific aimed at restoring function.

Any x-ray, scan or MRI reports for recent and or current injuries if you have them and if they are relevant. You may also like to bring some comfortable clothing such as shorts and a t-shirt.
