COVID-19 Update Information to All Valued Clients from Northern Myotherapy
To our valued clients,
Your health and safety are our highest priority. We wish to convey that our industry standard infection control measures remain paramount. Perhaps many patients are understandably unaware of these steps – rest assured surface wiping, rooms cleaned between appointments, and a raft of other measures including hand washing, disposable towel use, temperature checking of each client and gloves worn by all therapists for each appointment.
To reduce the numbers of people in the clinic at any one time, we ask that you turn up to your appointment on the hour. Each appointment lasts 45 mins and that will allow us 15 mins to clean the room and have one patient out of the clinic before the next arrives. This ensures that our staff can continue to uphold our highest clinical and sanitation standards possible and ensure physical / social distance guidelines are met.
We ask where possible, that only patients attend appointments. Another person may also attend, as a carer or a guardian / parent.
If you arrive early for an appointment, we ask that you stay in your car and only enter the Clinic at your allotted time.
We will be further encouraging Credit / Debit Card payments with co-payment via Private Health Fund Cards. For this period, we will not be accepting cash

Our team has formally been authorised to reschedule or refuse appointments, especially for anyone with flu-like symptoms (cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath, lethargy / fatigue) or possible chest infection.
As per latest Victorian government recommendations, patients who have travelled overseas, or had contact with anyone who has travelled overseas, will not attend the Clinic for at least 14 days.
Any patient or staff member who has had or been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or someone awaiting COVID-19 tests results will be asked not to attend the clinic for 14 days.
We are committed to your health and safety and will continue to respond quickly to State government recommendations regarding COVID-19.
